Dr Renata Hadzic
Comprehensive / ADHD
A comprehensive assessment consists of testing to evaluate intellectual abilities, academic abilities, and attention abilities, and standardised questionnaires to assess difficulties with inattention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity across home and school settings. It allows parents, educators, and other clinicians to better understand a child’s performance and behaviour relative to children of the same age. It can be useful in identifying areas of strength and weakness, areas for additional learning support or acceleration, and appropriate academic accommodations. It can also be useful in identifying discrepancies between expected and actual achievement and underpin the diagnosis of Specific Learning Disorders and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This assessment is available for children aged 6 years or older.
